JD Wetherspoon, a major UK pub and hotel chain, faced challenges with scalability and flexibility in its original mobile ordering solution. They needed a robust app to handle peak demand and integrate new payment services. To address this, they partnered with Filter to develop a new Order & Pay application.

Filter built a high-performance cross-platform app for iOS, Android, and as a PWA, which included a custom Payments API and a bespoke CMS for content management. The solution was highly successful, achieving 5 million downloads and processing over 40 orders per second during peak periods.
