FileWave helps the Kristin School manage 1200 Mac and Windows devices

Kristin School, an independent co-educational school in Auckland with about 1,550 students and 300 staff, needed a way to manage a mixed Mac and Windows environment and scale a BYOD program across campus. To meet requirements for consistent cross‑platform functionality, rapid software deployment and mobile device management, the school chose FileWave and deployed its FileWave management platform to manage roughly 1,200 devices.

FileWave implemented a mixed‑platform management solution with MDM capabilities, a self‑service Kiosk for apps and configurations, and around 100 rapidly deployable filesets, supported by training and responsive support. The result was a seamless transition to full BYOD, easier access to printers, licenses and educational apps for staff and students, and substantial time savings for the technical team — all delivered through FileWave.
