Media for Learning (Medien für die Lehre), RWTH Aachen University's digital-content team, produces high-quality educational videos and recently handled a 60–70 video lecture series. Their challenge was a slow, error-prone review process: uploading files to a private server, sending downloads, and collecting feedback via long emails made it hard to track which videos were approved, manage next steps, support non-technical reviewers, and keep data securely hosted in Germany.

To solve this, Media for Learning adopted Filestage’s cloud-based review platform to centralize files, provide intuitive in-browser feedback, and track each video's status. Filestage removed the need for self-hosting, met the team’s privacy requirements, and “significantly accelerat[ed] the video-production process,” enabling smoother approvals, less back-and-forth, and efficient management of the entire 60–70 video pipeline.
