Urbello, the City Blogging Platform Built with Filestack

Urbello, a London-based city blogging platform co‑founded by CEO Anna Halsall and CTO Ivan Brewis, set out to showcase visual, city-focused content in a continuous-scroll format and to aggregate images from many sources and mobile platforms. To solve the key technical challenge of uploading and managing images from social and mobile sources, Urbello integrated Filestack as its image-uploading solution.

Filestack provided a quick-to-deploy, easy-to-integrate uploader that lets bloggers pull images from practically any source and across mobile platforms, eliminating the need for a custom build. The Filestack integration made the platform usable for authors and was instrumental in enabling Urbello’s launch—Urbello’s team says that without Filestack the business likely wouldn’t have been possible.
