Premium Uniforms, an Ontario-based maker of workplace uniforms, faced a common manufacturing challenge: a high volume of paper records—especially invoice packages—needed to be preserved and quickly retrieved to prove product delivery and track orders. Their goal was to move toward a “paperless office,” starting with the accounting department’s time-consuming invoicing workflow.
FileHold implemented a document management solution that used batch scan profiles, patch-code separators and automated autofiling to convert invoice packages to electronic files with metadata (customer name, order number, invoice number, date, pick ticket) auto-extracted. The two-day rollout eliminated manual data entry, made invoices instantly searchable, reduced errors and saved staff time, producing clear ROI and prompting plans to expand the system to HR and engineering.
