The Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC®) is a global nonprofit focused on ensuring quality education for military children. Faced with growing stacks of boxes in the office and offsite storage, MCEC struggled to locate and manage paper records—wasting space and time and creating a need for a digital, searchable solution.

FileHold provided a turnkey document management system using network scanners and “Watched Folders” to automatically ingest files into an indexed library where metadata is captured and documents are searchable. Scanning 50–200 documents daily, MCEC was about 50% through the project after one year with a single operator, reclaiming office and storage space, accelerating retrieval from hours to seconds, and securing files with daily backups for disaster recovery.
