A Fil-Trek Case Study
A gasoline refinery was experiencing intermittent particulate contamination in its product and was dependent on a contractor-provided temporary filtration setup. This created an ongoing service dependency and capacity issues. Seeking a permanent, refinery-owned solution, they engaged Fil-Trek to design a system that could fit within their limited footprint in a congested pipe rack area.
Fil-Trek engineered a compact, dual-stacked system using two high-flow housings fitted with custom elements designed for hydrocarbon service. This solution provided the necessary filtration capacity without expanding the skid footprint. The Fil-Trek system has operated successfully for years, eliminating contractor dependency and delivering predictable performance with an average service life of approximately 96 million liters per filter changeout.
