A Fiksu Case Study
Le Figaro, France’s longest-running and largest newspaper, launched a mobile app to extend its presence across paper, desktop and mobile. Its main challenges were driving existing print and web readers to the app, increasing app visibility, and converting free users into premium subscribers.
Working with Fiksu, Le Figaro tested multiple acquisition channels (Facebook, RTB, incentivized and video networks), used data to refine targeting, and reached #1 in the French App Store News category. Analysis revealed highest click-through rates among 50–65 year olds and strongest conversions in the 25–34 and 50–65 groups; Le Figaro will add retargeting and focus on long‑term engagement to reduce seven‑day churn as the partnership continues.
