M.S. Kennedy Corporation (MSK) is a leading manufacturer of high‑performance analog microelectronics operating from a 43,000 sq. ft. facility in upstate New York. Facing limitations with a custom Access-based CMMS, maintenance manager James Burrows sought a cloud-based, user‑friendly solution that technicians could access from any Internet device; after evaluating vendors MSK selected Fiix for its simplicity, functionality and price.
Fiix was rolled out over nine months with a manual data cleanse, centralizing asset documents (LOTO procedures, schematics, manuals, warranties and EHS files) and giving technicians immediate, organized access to daily tasks. The result: faster, more productive technicians, reduced downtime through on‑floor access (iPad rollout), quicker parts identification and reordering, easier audit readiness, and a growing maintenance database for future optimization.
