A Figma Case Study
Lambda is an entirely online, live, instructor-led 9‑month program that teaches web, mobile, data science and UX design and set out to recreate the connection, hands‑on collaboration, and feedback loops of an in‑person classroom for remote students. To address that challenge, Lambda turned to Figma and its browser‑based collaborative design tools to make lessons interactive, participatory, and accessible from anywhere.
Figma enabled real‑time co‑editing, visible pointers, commenting, remixing, voting, and autosave/version history so students can design together, give side‑by‑side feedback, and iterate openly during class. The outcome was more engaged, collaborative learning, streamlined portfolio creation because work is saved and organized throughout the course, and graduates better prepared for professional, team‑based design workflows — all delivered through Figma.
