Complex user journey mapping with Netflix

Netflix engaged growth product designer Emily Loper to map a complex, months‑long user journey that affected both members and many internal teams. The project produced a tangled web of interdependencies across engineering, legal and data science, so Netflix turned to Figma’s FigJam to support faster iteration and clearer cross‑functional communication.

Using FigJam in Figma, Emily consolidated more than 20 user flows into a single file, used built‑in shapes and connectors to preserve dependencies, and created a visual key and progress schematic to keep stakeholders aligned. The Figma solution streamlined communications, maintained a single source of truth for the months‑long effort, and made it easier for teams to track progress and provide timely input.
