HighPoint Resources, a Denver-based oil and gas exploration and production company, faced a burdensome, paper-based inspection and Excel-tracking process required for regulatory compliance across 190 sites and more than 4,200 pieces of equipment. To replace paper inspections and automate preventative maintenance scheduling, HighPoint partnered with Fieldpoint Service Applications, Inc., deploying Fieldpoint’s field service software and Mobile Field Service App (including work order management, preventative maintenance contracts, mobile checklists and reporting).

Fieldpoint Service Applications, Inc. implemented the mobile app, automated creation of inspection work orders on weekly/monthly/quarterly intervals, integrated with SiteView, and delivered customized reporting. Technicians now perform over 450 inspections per month via mobile devices, automatically generate follow-up work orders, and feed consistent data for compliance and trend analysis—eliminating the prior need to sift through roughly 3,000 paper reports over six months, improving visibility across 4,200+ assets, and enabling measurable efficiency gains for the 15 Fieldpoint users.
