FieldFLEX worked with a large retailer operating several thousand locations nationwide that was installing gate systems to reduce theft, but was struggling with inconsistent contractor installation quality and limited visibility into how much time vendors actually spent on site versus what they billed. The retailer needed a better way to manage contractor labor, work durations, and invoice accuracy.
FieldFLEX implemented its Work Management app for vendors, using the FieldFLEX Technician mobile application to assign tasks, guide technicians through the process, and automatically log arrivals and departures via GPS or Bluetooth, even offline. FieldFLEX’s solution improved work cycle times, helped normalize expected task-specific labor, identified vendors who were misreporting or over-billing time, and gave the retailer greater control over average labor costs while supporting SLA measurement for response and resolution times.
