Its paper-based process made technicians waste time traveling to the dispatch office for instructions, while the company had no efficient way to track repair status or keep tenants updated on service requests.
FieldFLEX implemented its Work Management app to deliver work orders in near real time, let technicians travel directly from job to job, log time and materials on site, and automatically update requestors with status. The solution also supported dispatching the nearest qualified technician, capturing images, and collecting survey feedback. FieldFLEX reported that technicians saved about 1 hour per day and reduced work cycle time by 19 minutes per task, while customer service costs fell as tenant issues decreased and the maintenance backlog became manageable.
