Kraft Heinz, a major food and beverage company, faced the challenge of launching a new line of salad dressings and making it stand out on the crowded shelves of Walmart stores. The associate director of shopper marketing noted that new items are often lost in a "sea of similar offerings," making initial consumer trial a significant hurdle. To address this, the company partnered with vendor Field Agent.

Field Agent implemented its Digital Demo® solution, which mobilized targeted shoppers to purchase the dressing from Walmart, try it at home, and provide feedback. This process generated thousands of first-time purchases. The results were significant: 96% of purchases were from first-time buyers, 86% of users rated the product highly, and 85% planned to repurchase. Field Agent's solution also created thousands of online articles from positive reviews, 30% of which were shared on social media, providing valuable word-of-mouth marketing for Kraft Heinz.
