Cumulus Media, the second-largest radio communications company in the nation, was struggling with a paper-based accounts payable process that could not keep up with tens of thousands of invoices each month. As the company expanded rapidly, it needed a robust, customizable AP system that could handle a complex approval workflow and significant growth without turning implementation into a long project. Fidesic’s ePayables platform was selected to address these challenges.

Fidesic implemented ePayables for more than 200 users across dozens of regional markets, completing the rollout in Q1 2012 with training and customized documentation. The new system helped Cumulus Media grow by more than 80 regional locations and process over 4,000 additional invoices without hiring new AP staff, while giving teams the ability to review and approve invoices from anywhere and access better reporting, document storage, and monthly accruals integrated with GP.
