Global Bank Leaders Reduces Incident Response Time from 10 Days to 5 Hours

Global Bank, a top-five global bank, faced growing cyber threats and a technology ceiling on email collections that limited its ability to index and query Microsoft Exchange data on the fly for fast forensics and compliance. After an RFI to multiple vendors, the bank selected Fidelis Cybersecurity and its Fidelis Endpoint solution to provide on-demand Exchange indexing, endpoint analysis and remote remediation.

Fidelis Cybersecurity worked embedded with the bank to extend Fidelis Endpoint’s forensic and remediation capabilities, enabling remote recovery of infected endpoints, killing malicious processes, and capturing malware for analysis. The deployment let the bank bring incident response in-house and cut Mean Time to Resolution from ten days to five hours, avoided hardware replacement costs of $450–$680 per device, and saved roughly £10,000 in travel per incident while equipping IR, forensics, data-leakage and intelligence teams with the same toolset.
