Coractive, a Québec City–based designer and manufacturer of optical fibers and fiber lasers with 65 employees and an office in China, was expanding internationally but struggled to make fast, reliable decisions because operational data was trapped in Excel, Access and Sage silos. Facing price pressure in key Asian markets and needing tighter cost and margin control, Coractive selected the Fidelio ERP system to provide the integrated, flexible, and easy-to-use solution they required.

Fidelio ERP was implemented in two phases, delivering cloud access, dashboards and embedded analytics, mobile RF barcode inventory transactions, and manufacturing-specific customization to handle scientific data. The system gave Coractive real‑time KPIs and analysis views (for example, profitability by customer), eliminated paper-based inventory tracking, and enabled the company to standardize processes on Fidelio’s best practices—allowing leadership to react faster, improve inventory visibility and address exceptions through redesigned workflows.
