How LUX Rewards created a luxury rewards brand and increased average transaction value by 3x

LUX Rewards, a luxury loyalty platform for high-end restaurants and bars, needed to remove friction from its customer journey and improve transaction visibility. Its original app required customers to download the app, enter bill details, generate a code, and rely on staff to manually process rewards, which created drop-off and captured only about 50% of transactions. Receipt scanning performed even worse, capturing just 10%.

To solve this, LUX Rewards built its updated app on Fidel API’s payment card-linking technology, allowing customers to simply link a credit or debit card and earn points automatically at checkout with no extra steps or staff training. With Fidel API, LUX achieved 85% card linking among active users and increased average customer transaction value by 3x, while also improving retention and merchant value.
