Case Study: NORD/LB achieves real-time management reporting with FICO TONBELLER

Management cockpits provide right information to manage liquidity and risk

NORD/LB, an international credit institution and state bank in Germany, needed a faster, more reliable way to provide the management board and specialist departments with the right liquidity, risk, and credit information for decision-making and Basel III compliance. Working with vendor FICO TONBELLER, the bank used Siron® MI-Suite and Siron® Enterprise Cockpit Designer (Siron®ECD) to create recipient-oriented management cockpits and reporting for treasury, risk controlling, and liquidity management.

FICO TONBELLER implemented a central data pool and ETL-based integration of information from heterogeneous sources, delivering standardized ratios and dashboards through web-based, role-based cockpits. The solution gave NORD/LB a single point of truth for critical data, improved real-time planning and decisions, reduced manual data searching, and enabled more than 150 users to access management information more efficiently.
