Rapidly growing start-up Socotra elevates recruiting with Fetcher

Socotra, a rapidly growing insurance-platform start-up, faced an unsustainable recruiting load — 15–20+ open roles at a time, manual sourcing, poor hiring-manager collaboration, and no consistent outreach. In April 2021 Socotra implemented Fetcher’s sourcing and outreach platform (curated candidate batches and automated sequences) to address those capacity and process challenges.

Fetcher delivered curated candidate pools and automated outreach sequences that let Socotra source hard-to-fill engineering, sales, and marketing roles while freeing the TA team to move candidates faster and focus on people work. Results include crucial hires (Director of Sales Operations, Senior Software Engineer), exclusive sourcing for a VP of Marketing, recent diversity wins (the last 4–5 hires were women), reduced spend on sourcers/contract recruiters and planned non-renewal of LinkedIn Recruiter seats, and higher candidate response rates via multi-touch outreach — all enabled by Fetcher.
