Fetch Lifts Increasing Package Burden from Gates Hudson Teams During COVID-19 Pandemic

Gates Hudson, a multifamily property operator, was struggling with a rapidly rising influx of resident packages during the COVID-19 pandemic. With limited storage capacity and package rooms and lockers becoming overwhelmed, on-site teams were spending significant time managing deliveries and trying to maintain resident service.

Fetch Package was implemented first at one Gates Hudson property and then expanded to four more communities. Fetch Package helped reduce package-handling work by about eight hours per day, improved social distancing by delivering packages directly to residents, and allowed teams to refocus on resident support; more than 75% of residents adopted the new system at the four rollout properties.
