BNP Paribas - Customer Case Study

BNP Paribas faced a fragmented, siloed KYC and client lifecycle process across multiple business units and 65 countries, which slowed onboarding, increased rekeying and operational risk, and hurt time to revenue. To address this, BNP Paribas implemented its One KYC utility using Fenergo’s client lifecycle management (CLM) solution to create a centralized, reusable repository of standardized KYC data and documents.

Fenergo’s CLM enabled One KYC to consolidate legal-entity hierarchies, streamline onboarding and recertification, and reduce duplicate work and data re-entry; the program delivered its first upload in December 2018 and reached full group go‑live in July 2021. As a result, BNP Paribas improved onboarding efficiency, shortened time to revenue opportunities, optimized its Group Recertification Plan, and won the Celent Model Risk Manager 2022 Award for Legacy and Ecosystem Transformation.
