Church Sees Steady Giving Increases with F1 Online Giving 2.0

Hope Fellowship is a fast-growing, Next‑Gen Assemblies of God church serving nearly 4,000 people across two Texas campuses. Finance Director Linda Jewell faced a one‑person office managing payroll, accounts and Sunday offerings while their prior church management system lacked full web‑based tools, online giving and reliable reporting—leaving the church vulnerable to seasonal giving slumps and inconsistent contributions.

Hope migrated to FellowshipOne in 2008 and later beta‑tested FellowshipOne Giving 2.0 with a gradual, low‑pressure rollout. The enhanced user experience, ACH and card options (including AmEx) and improved reporting simplified back‑office work and encouraged adoption; online participation rose from about 45% to over 50%. The result: steady, sustained increases in online contributions, elimination of summertime giving slumps, and continued giving growth even when attendance growth slowed.
