South Burnett Regional Council partnered with Felix to address the need for a more progressive online platform to manage supplier information, compliance documents, and pricing schedules for standing offer agreements. The council wanted a better way to manage procurement, vendor relationships, and tendered work with greater transparency and efficiency.
Felix implemented a single automated platform, including an RFQ tool and prequalification workflow, to streamline procurement and supplier management. The result was a major reduction in manual work and faster evaluations: prequalified supplier assessments dropped from up to 90 days to less than half that time, while internal users and vendors reported improved ease of use, centralised compliance documents, and stronger probity.
