Feed Optimization with Feedonomics Achieves a 299.2% Return on Ad Spend Increase for Google Shopping Campaigns

Leading Auto Parts Company, a retailer with hundreds of thousands of SKUs specializing in automotive lights, struggled with fragmented, obfuscated manufacturer fitment data (XML) that left its Google Shopping feed largely unoptimized—titles and descriptions omitted manufacturer and model years—and a small share of unprofitable SKUs consumed disproportionate ad spend. They engaged Feedonomics for feed optimization and product feed management.

Feedonomics consolidated multiple manufacturer files, enriched titles and descriptions with brand, manufacturer, color, year and product type, excluded unprofitable products, and implemented custom-label tiered bid strategies while expanding campaigns to Bing Shopping, Facebook Product Ads and Connexity. As a result, Feedonomics drove a 229.2% increase in ROAS for Google Shopping campaigns, a 58% decrease in CPA, a 124% increase in impressions and a 164% decrease in CPC.
