TSYS enhances real-time fraud capabilities with machine learning technology

TSYS, a Global Payments company and leading provider of payment solutions, needed to reduce card fraud while keeping transactions secure and seamless for issuers and merchants. To address this challenge, TSYS partnered with Featurespace and used products including TSYS Foresight Score and TSYS Smart Secure, both built on Featurespace’s Adaptive Behavioral Analytics engine.

Featurespace implemented machine-learning fraud scoring and 3DS authentication to monitor transactions in real time and improve decision-making. The results included 4.3 billion transactions processed, a 15% increase in overall fraud protection, a 39% reduction in fraud losses, and 94.5% frictionless transactions within months, helping Featurespace and TSYS cut false positives while improving fraud detection.
