Alphabroder, a leading wholesale distributor and manufacturer of imprintable apparel and accessories, needed to keep pace with fast-moving customer demand and ensure always-on service across web, mobile, and call center channels. The company had relied on FDM4’s ERP system built on Progress OpenEdge for more than 18 years, and its business challenge was maintaining availability, performance, and rapid order fulfillment for more than 100,000 customers.

FDM4 completed Alphabroder’s upgrade to Progress OpenEdge 11.6, adding new capabilities such as table partitioning to improve data management, reporting, and performance. With 69 OpenEdge databases supporting up to 40,000 orders per day, plus Oracle and SQL Server environments, the upgrade positioned Alphabroder to better manage large-scale data and respond faster to business-critical reporting needs, while FDM4 continued to enhance the ERP platform for long-term growth.
