A large Australian bank wanted to enhance the efficiency of its payments platform by migrating to modern technologies like Cloud and integrating tools such as New Relic, RedHat, and Splunk. To achieve this and diversify its workforce, the bank partnered with FDM Group to acquire a team of skilled junior DevOps and business analysis talent.

FDM Group provided 13 consultants who underwent core training supplemented with instruction on the client’s specific technologies. The solution successfully integrated the consultants as DevOps and Site Reliability Engineers, who took on critical roles in technical projects and Scrum teams. The key results included the client gaining niche skillsets, diversifying its talent with 46% of the consultants identifying as female, and establishing a future talent pipeline with the potential for permanent hires.
