Zionsville Community Schools Increase Bandwidth And Achieves Redundancy For Its Web-Based Services At A Minimal Cost Using FatPipe WARP

Zionsville Community Schools (ZCS) is a K–12 public district serving about 5,000 students across 10 buildings that relies on web‑based services (like ParentConnect) to deliver information to parents, students and staff. Faced with growing demand for online resources and a tight budget, ZCS needed to increase bandwidth and add redundancy without leasing expensive circuits, and selected FatPipe Networks' WARP solution.

ZCS deployed FatPipe Networks' WARP to aggregate two existing T1s with two newly leased cable lines, dynamically load‑balancing traffic and providing automatic failover for a fault‑tolerant WAN. The implementation produced a combined throughput of 8 Mbps up and 5 Mbps down, cost‑effective cable links at roughly $100/month each, supported over 2,000 ParentConnect users, and delivered increased bandwidth and redundancy—an investment ZCS reports “quickly paid for itself.”
