A FatPipe Networks Case Study

Preview of the Nigerian Financial Institution Case Study

Nigerian Financial Institution - Customer Case Study

Nigerian Financial Institution, a leading full‑service bank in West Africa with total assets above USD $3.9 billion, depended on its WAN for online banking, electronic payments, mobile apps and VoIP. The bank faced an unreliable, manual failover process that relied on Rackspace DNS changes and required on‑site intervention, causing average outages of 15–30 minutes and putting mission‑critical services at risk — so it turned to FatPipe Networks for an automated WAN resilience solution.

FatPipe Networks deployed two WARP appliances in a High Availability configuration, added a third ISP and implemented FatPipe SmartDNS for inbound load balancing and FatPipe RAIL for outbound failover and load balancing, aggregating 8 mbps, 10 mbps and 30 mbps links. The result was automatic intelligent failover, higher WAN speed, improved reliability and efficiency, elimination of manual on‑site failovers, and avoidance of hundreds of thousands of US dollars in potential downtime losses.
