ERM, the world's largest advisory firm focused solely on sustainability, sought globally consistent, high-resolution flood risk data for its new Climate Impact Platform. Their clients across various sectors needed this data to build credible, auditable strategies for managing the increasing physical risks from climate change, but existing data was often inconsistent, low resolution, and lacked transparency. To meet this challenge, ERM partnered with flood risk data vendor Fathom.

The solution involved integrating Fathom's peer-reviewed Global Flood Map into ERM's platform, providing clients with transparent, scientifically robust data. Using Fathom's data, ERM consultants now support enterprise risk management, due diligence, and regulatory reporting for global firms, enabling them to make swift, informed decisions to safeguard assets and ensure long-term resilience. This was demonstrated with client Pfizer, whose global network was screened for climate risks to inform its adaptation strategy.
