The customer, CReDo (Climate Resilience Demonstrator), faced the challenge of building a digital twin to model how flooding from climate change disrupts interconnected UK infrastructure networks. Without in-house hydrological expertise, they needed a partner to provide credible flood-risk data. They selected the vendor Fathom for its scientific flood modeling services.

Fathom supplied pluvial, fluvial, and coastal flood data under various climate scenarios, which CReDo used to build a fully functioning prototype. This solution provided the scientific foundation needed to demonstrate credibility to partners and secure £913,000 in further funding from Ofwat. The success of the prototype, powered by Fathom's data, has enabled CReDo to scale its platform to new regions and for additional climate risks.
