Flow International Simplifies SOX Compliance Efforts with Fastpath

Flow International, the world leader in ultrahigh-pressure (UHP) waterjet technology, faced challenges meeting Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) Section 404 requirements across its global operations and struggled to document and test financial controls after implementing Microsoft Dynamics AX. To streamline compliance and reporting, Flow engaged Fastpath and deployed Fastpath Assure for Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Fastpath implemented Fastpath Assure to automate segregation-of-duties (SOD) analysis, provide interactive reporting and a workflow for proposing and approving mitigations, and map custom rules from Flow’s prior ERP. As a result, Fastpath eliminated manual security reconciliations, turned a weeks‑or‑months SOD review into an ongoing automated process, increased staff productivity, reduced audit costs, and gave Flow greater confidence in its control environment.
