Box, an enterprise content management platform, faced Sarbanes-Oxley–driven NetSuite user access reviews after going public in 2015. Manually reviewing thousands of permissions per role was time-consuming, expensive, and produced unreadable data, so Box sought a compliance solution from Fastpath to streamline the process.

Box implemented Fastpath Assure for NetSuite, self-installing the out-of-the-box audit and conflict-analysis ruleset, importing roles, and using features like Conflict by User to remediate excessive permissions. Fastpath’s Assure cut review time from a three-month manual process to a matter of weeks, reduced conflicts from a few thousand to a couple hundred mitigated, and enabled much faster approvals (e.g., send a report Monday, receive approval by Friday).
