RVU, the UK market comparison company behind Uswitch, Money, and Bankrate, needed a consistent way to scale its brands after acquisitions while improving security, performance, and developer workflows. Fastly helped RVU move services to the edge, reuse code across brands, and run advanced caching, redirects, A/B testing, and feature flagging with custom VCL and API-driven automation. The impact was faster onboarding for new brands, better security visibility, and about a 30% reduction in time to first byte (TTFB), while a major Uswitch rebrand was tested on 10% of visitors and fully rolled out within 10 days after showing no negative effect on sales.
