Filestack partners with Fastly to scale their business, enhance security

Filestack, a low-code content API platform for uploading, transforming, and delivering files, needed a CDN that could keep up with its rapidly growing file management service while improving security and performance. It chose Fastly’s CDN and later expanded into Fastly TLS, next-generation WAF, and Compute as its business needs evolved.

With Fastly, Filestack cut file invalidation time from about 15 minutes to seconds, scaled data transfer from about 77 terabytes per month to roughly 18 petabytes per year, and grew TLS certificate management from a handful of certificates to hundreds. Fastly also helped move security and content delivery to the edge, supporting faster customization, stronger protection, and reliable growth with minimal platform issues.
