Boots turned to Fastly for full-page caching, GeoIP detection, and device-based personalization to improve the boots.com experience for shoppers across regions and on mobile.

Fastly implemented a CDN solution using Custom VCL, Instant Purge, and real-time analytics so Boots could manage updates itself, route users to the right site version, and protect its origin during traffic spikes. The results included instant configuration changes, better global and mobile experiences, stronger support during high-traffic events like Black Friday, and real-time visibility into performance, hit ratio, and errors.
