Advanced Construction Robotics (ACR) needed a reliable manufacturer for critical components of its rebar-tying robot, TyBot, to increase productivity and safety on job sites while scaling a growing robotics startup. ACR turned to Fast Radius for multi-process manufacturing—initially HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) 3D printing and later PA12 housings, cast urethane internal parts, CNC and other processes—to meet demanding wear, quality, and ramp-up requirements.

Fast Radius provided a single trusted source for on-demand, low-volume production with dedicated engineering, production, and logistics support, enabling faster prototype-to-production cycles and quick small-batch retrofits. As a result, ACR shortened lead times, avoided supply-chain disruptions, maintained quality standards, and scaled TyBot production (approximately 80 parts per TyBot manufactured by Fast Radius), helping the company meet aggressive timelines and cost targets.
