Plinacro, Croatia’s largest gas transmission system operator, needed a better way to handle financial planning after its legacy tool was losing support and Excel alone could not support its detailed planning needs. The company’s 30-person planning team had to manage complex revenue, cost, maintenance, CAPEX, and reporting workflows, including highly granular project and transaction-level planning. Farseer was brought in to replace the outdated approach with a modern planning solution.

Farseer connected to Plinacro’s Oracle EBS ERP and created a two-way data flow that turned Farseer into a single source of truth for plan-versus-actual reporting. The platform automated P&L, revenue, budget, and CAPEX reports, improved collaboration with built-in commenting and messaging, and added granular permission controls for different users. The project was rated 36/36 by the client-side project manager, and Plinacro gained shorter planning processes, automated actual tracking, and more accurate reporting.
