Thrane & Thrane, a global developer of satellite communications, faced the challenge of high energy consumption from its 800+ workstations, which were often left powered on for remote access and lacked a centralized power management strategy. As a result, Thrane & Thrane is now saving 250,000 Danish Kroner (approximately $45,000 USD) per year in energy costs. The Faronics investment paid for itself within the first year, aided by an energy grant, and provided the company with flexible control over its power policies.
