Tasteful Selections, the largest grower, shipper, and packer of bite-sized potatoes in North America, was looking for a way to keep up with rising demand while improving food safety and reducing labor bottlenecks. As production speeds increased, manual packing became a constraint, and the company needed a gentle, sanitary automation solution for case packing.

FANUC America Corporation implemented five FANUC M-3iA Delta robots equipped with Soft Robotics mGrip soft grippers, along with FANUC palletizing robots through Schneider Packaging, to automate packing and end-of-line handling. The solution increased production, reduced rejected product and waste, lowered workplace accidents, and allowed staff to move into more rewarding roles, all while helping Tasteful Selections maintain product quality and achieve growth at an attractive price point.
