Pearl Crop automates palletizing with FANUC and adds 6+ robots

Pearl Crop, a family-owned food processing company, faced challenges with seasonal labor shortages and worker injuries from manually palletizing heavy boxes, which created production bottlenecks. They partnered with FANUC America Corporation and its authorized system integrator, RentoRobot, to implement a flexible robot rental solution using FANUC CRX collaborative robots and R-2000iC industrial robots.

The solution from RentoRobot and FANUC America Corporation involved deploying more than six robotic systems to automate palletizing, which eliminated repetitive heavy lifting. The results included improved production flow and throughput, the redeployment of employees to higher-value roles, and a significant reduction in ergonomic injury risks.
