Latham Pools boosts panel quality with FANUC after installing 7 robots

Latham Pools, the largest manufacturer of in-ground residential swimming pools in North America, faced challenges with labor shortages, rising costs, and inconsistency in the manual assembly of steel wall panels. To address this, they partnered with FANUC America Corporation and its system integrator, KC Robotics, to implement a robotic automation solution.

FANUC America Corporation installed six R-2000iC/165F robots and one R-2000iC/210F robot to create a complete automated assembly line. This solution from FANUC resulted in higher consistency of quality, allowed employees to be reallocated to other tasks, and created an efficient process that keeps production costs low for competitive pricing.
