JTEKT, a global leader in engineering and manufacturing automotive systems, needed to improve productivity, reduce waste, and address labor challenges across a competitive manufacturing environment. To help with these time-consuming and inefficient assembly processes, JTEKT turned to FANUC America Corporation and its automation solutions, including FANUC robots and related machining equipment.

FANUC America Corporation integrated more than 30 pieces of equipment into JTEKT’s automation system, simplifying production and enabling machine tending across the line. The result was a 45% increase in labor efficiency, a major reduction in manual labor from 10 workers per line to 2, and the elimination of waste, along with a more reliable and efficient process.
