BelleFlex Technologies, a manufacturer of precision disc springs, faced challenges with a slow, manual inspection process that limited production capacity and introduced a high risk of human error. To overcome this bottleneck, they partnered with vendor FANUC America Corporation and integrator I2T to implement an automated solution using FANUC SR-6iA SCARA robots.

The solution was a compact dual-robot inspection cell that automated part loading, vision inspection, mechanical testing, and sorting. This system, implemented by FANUC America Corporation and I2T, boosted throughput by 10 times, improved accuracy, and provided complete traceability. The success led BelleFlex to order two additional systems, enabling scalable production and higher customer confidence.
