Fanatical worked with Yosemite Dnc Parks And Resort, a travel and hospitality organization, during the 2013 Rim Fire crisis. The challenge was to correct negative press that made it seem unsafe to visit Yosemite, even though the fire affected only a small part of the park and the main tourism areas remained open.
Fanatical used a custom advocate activation campaign to find and prioritize 200 influencers by predicted impact and send personalized messages encouraging them to share the message that Yosemite Valley was open and smoke-free. The campaign was set up in 10 minutes, achieved a 40% conversion rate, and generated 250K in reach, helping spread the word quickly and effectively.
