Wristbanditz, a provider of technology-driven marketing solutions using NFC wearables, needed a fast, flexible, and reliable way to manage guest accreditation and access control for the ECF Velo-City conference in Nijmegen. Their goal was to simplify entry to the main event, workshops, and off-site sessions with a solution that could be deployed quickly and managed remotely, using Famoco NFC devices.

Famoco helped Wristbanditz implement a secure NFC access control system by linking attendee data from the ticket shop to NFC wristbands via Wristbanditz’s cloud and API. Staff scanned wristbands with Famoco devices to manage access, and the result was a smoother event experience with no long queues, live monitoring of attendees, and real-time event data; the deployment included over 50 Famoco devices and processed thousands of transactions for more than 1,500 attendees.
