Flapps, a Slovakia-based enterprise time and attendance software company, needed a better way to help its customer Trenkwalder track attendance for remote and field employees across 16 countries. Before the project, attendance was handled on paper and in Excel, causing long time-to-bill cycles, limited real-time visibility, fraud risk, heavy administration, payroll delays, and unhappy end customers.

Famoco provided the Android-based FX100 devices used to run Flapps Attendance at customer sites, with NFC card clock-in/clock-out and internet connectivity for real-time data capture. The solution delivered instant late/missing notifications, faster month-end payroll reports, and API integration for billing, bringing major efficiency gains, shorter time-to-bill, lower costs, and improved credibility; it was first rolled out in 4 CE countries and then expanded to 4 more, with plans to cover all 16.
