Medisys, a long-time provider of health management applications for the French medical-social sector, needed to protect highly sensitive patient and caregiver data used by professionals working in the field. To avoid the security risks of BYOD and personal smartphones, Medisys wanted a secure mobile offer for planning, care records, and activity data transmission.

Working with Famoco, Medisys deployed a secure solution combining its business application, mobile device management, and Famoco FX200 terminals running Famoco OS. The result is a fleet of nearly 30,000 secure devices protecting health data across France’s metropolitan and overseas regions, with reduced metadata leakage and simplified fleet management thanks to 2-year device coverage.
